A Palm Sunday Letter

March 28, 2010

Dear Friends in Christ at St. Michael’s:

This day I want to share some important news to share with you.  I have accepted
call to serve as rector at St. George’s Episcopal Church on Ft.George Island in our diocese.  I have tendered my resignation as
priest-in-charge to the vestry and Bishop Howard, and my last Sunday will be in early May.  I have enjoyed and been enriched by serving at St. Michael’s but sense  that God is calling me into a new life chapter.

The bishop’s office, through the Canon to the Ordinary, has begun the process of prayerfully selecting a new priest , and as soon there isnews, you will hear. I am working diligently to make this transitionas smooth as possible, and hope that you will assist in this too.

Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.  I covet your prayers for our community in Christ and for me as I begin this time of transition.

And may your Holy Week be especially blessed and holy.

Your servant in Christ,
Nancee+
